HOW IT WORKS
Log in to your APLY account and enter your customer's name, an internal reference, and their mobile phone number to start the verification process.
APLYiD enables you to easily verify the identity of a customer, whether they are present or not. There are no apps to download, with a simple clean customer user experience that is easy for anyone to follow. The tool uses biometrics, OCR (optical character recognition) and trusted source data to confirm the identity of a customer, the legitimacy of the ID and the customer’s address.
The platform uses banking level technology that is currently being rolled out by Tier 1 banks. It is used by customers on a daily basis and is constantly being tweaked and improved to reduce fraud and enhance customer experience.
To verify a customer, simply enter the customer’s mobile phone number into the APLYiD dashboard. This will send the customer an SMS with a link, which will start a short 90-second workflow to verify the customer in real time. The customer simply takes a photo of their Driver Licence or Passport and a quick video of their face.
The results are then passed back to the dashboard in real time, where they can be reviewed, approved, downloaded as a PDF and stored wherever necessary for future auditing.
This significantly reduces delays to on-boarding new customers, especially those that, for whatever reason, cannot be present. APLYiD will remove the need for your customers to get their ID certified and provide a proof of address, both of which are quite a hassle and slow down the process.
